She then switched places with her twin sister, Alison. They then drove to the mental institution that Courtney was staying at, but Alison ended up going there since Courtney was pretending to be Alison. Courtney then came back to Rosewood and left Alison's friends for Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily-since she only knew them. They all quickly became friends and Courtney continued to pretend to be Alison. |

She then got in an argument with Spencer and ran off to her house. Outside, Courtney and Spencer got in a fight over Ian(Courtney's secret boyfriend). Spencer shoved Courtney and then walked away as Courtney ran off. Ian, before he died, claimed that he saw two blonde girls arguing. In truth, these two girls were Courtney and Alison. Alison, for revenge, shoved Courtney into the hole in their backyard. So of course, Courtney was really the one who was killed rather than Alison. |
