Sean Ackard is Hanna's boyfriend. Hanna has had a crush on him since 7th Grade, which Alison constantly taunted her about.

Sean is Hanna's boyfriend. When Hanna attempts to have sex with him, he breaks up with her as he has pled to be a virgin until he is married, leading Hanna to believe that he is afraid to lose his virginity. She tries to seduce him at a party, only for him to turn her down. Angry, Hanna takes his car keys and crashes his car in revenge, resulting in Sean ending their relationship.
Sean befriends Aria, only for the friendship to be ruined by "A", who sends Sean a picture of Aria and Ezra kissing. Sean calls the police on Ezra and calls Aria a "whore", telling her that she's more like her father than she will ever know.
