Maya St. Germain moved into the house next door to Emily's, Alison's old house. She and Emily bond. They soon begin to develop romantic feelings for each other. After homecoming, Emily realizes that she wants to have a relationship with Maya, despite what others think.in the episode "Please do talk about me when i am gone Maya and Emily have their first offical date at the rosewood Movie theater while they are at the Movies they start to Make out they Kiss for A Long time. The girls later believe her to be "A". Emily's parents think she is the reason why Emily all of a sudden comes out to them and tells them she is a lesbian. In Know Your Frenemies she went to camp for three months.
